O’Connor Connective Boosts McDonald Companies’ Visibility for Community Outreach

On April 30, WBAY-TV Channel 2 spotlighted McDonald Companies as this year’s recipient of the Community Employer of the Year award from Curative Connections. McDonald, a 110-year-old Green Bay business, has collaborated with Curative in the past year to provide job training and employment opportunities for clients with disabilities.

As Curative President/CEO Steve McCarthy said of his partners at McDonald: “They’re taking a big leadership step here for the rest of the community to show what’s possible, to show other employers that, ‘Hey, people with disabilities can make wonderful employees, they can be a wonderful addition to your workforce.’”

Through its ongoing work with McDonald Companies for strategic communications, O’Connor Connective partnered in securing media coverage for the Curative Connections award and the good work of McDonald Companies.
