O’Connor Connective Announces Sonnentag as Strategic Communications Consultant
O’Connor Connective is pleased to announce Rachel Sonnentag has been promoted to Strategic Communications Consultant. This summer, Sonnentag begins her fifth year with O’Connor Connective.
At O’Connor Connective, Sonnentag is responsible for partnering with clients to hone strategy and develop marketing communications to create results. She partners with clients on the management, training and implementation of those plans.
“Rachel has served our clients exceptionally well over the last four years,” said Bridget O’Connor, owner and principal of O’Connor Connective. “Her ability to think strategically, communicate effectively and focus on measurable outcomes makes great things happen for our clients—whether that’s growing enrollment, raising dollars, attracting talent or advancing sales.”
Previously, Sonnentag held the position of Senior Associate—Marketing Communications with O’Connor Connective. Prior to joining the company in 2014, Sonnentag led the undergraduate admission office at Mount Mary University (Milwaukee) and held positions at St. Norbert College and KI.
Sonnentag is on the St. Norbert College Alumni Board and the Happily Ever After Animal Sanctuary Board. She also serves on the Boys & Girls Club of Green Bay Marketing Committee. Named a Future 15 recipient in 2016, Sonnentag takes her commitment to advancing her profession and local community to heart, having been raised in the New North region.
“O’Connor Connective led me back to this region from Milwaukee,” Sonnentag said. “The engagement with professional and nonprofit organizations continues to remind me of how special the New North region is. We have a lot to offer emerging leaders. I’m thrilled to be here and to continue advancing our clients, community and company.”
She has a master’s degree from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a bachelor’s degree from St. Norbert College.
