High Hopes. Community. The Power of We. Those were prevalent themes Wednesday night at the Lamp of Knowledge Celebration as Scholarships, Inc. honored 68 high school graduates as its 2019 scholarship recipients and also introduced 29 young students who comprise the newest cohort (Class of 2026) in the NEW Scholars program.
As a proud partner of Scholarships, Inc., O’Connor Connective’s Bridget Krage O’Connor and Todd McMahon had the privilege of sitting with and getting to know two of the scholarship recipients — from Sevastopol High School and West De Pere High School — and their families. Thanks to the life-changing power of a giving community, Scholarships, Inc. has helped 8,800 students pursue their high hopes and dreams by awarding $11.5 million in scholarships since the nonprofit started in 1962.
