O’Connor Connective is pleased to be the recipient of two PRemier Awards, awarded through the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Northeast Wisconsin Chapter for exceptional public relations practice.
O’Connor Connective received the Award of Excellence in the category of Branding/Reputation Management for “Fulfillnet Becomes Elevate97 – A Strategic Company Rebrand.” O’Connor Connective entered into a relationship with Elevate97 (formerly Fulfillnet, Inc.) to review the strategic direction and marketing communication plans of the company to ensure they were well positioned for future growth and development. Through this process, it was discovered that a new name and brand was essential to be able to effectively communicate the services offered. After significant research, planning, coordination, communication and execution, Fulfillnet launched their new name and identity, Elevate97, in February 2014.
In the category of Issue Communications, O’Connor Connective received an Award of Merit for “The Howard-Suamico School District Referendum” project. O’Connor Connective worked with the Howard-Suamico School District to provide strategic communication council to strongly position Howard-Suamico as a leading district in the region. This positioning preceded the district’s preparation for referenda and coincided with their goal to increase district enrollment. The $13M referendum was approved by almost 70% of the Howard-Suamico community in the spring of 2014, the enrollment in the district continues to grow.
O’Connor Connective Principal and Owner, Bridget Krage O’Connor, was honored to receive both awards, not only to showcase the significant scope of work completed by O’Connor Connective, but to applaud the extraordinary effort shown by each client and their internal teams. “Elevate97 and Howard-Suamico School District both recognize the critical nature of communication in achieving their strategic objectives,” said O’Connor. “We are pleased to be a partner with such forward-thinking organizations.”
Entries are judged by a reciprocal PRSA chapter and are evaluated on the project’s objectives, research, planning, communication action, implementation, creativity, budget and results achieved. O’Connor Connective accepted these awards at the Annual PRemier Awards Banquet on November 11, 2014 at The Marq in De Pere, Wisconsin.
